Educator

Technology Coordinator, Tulare County Office of Education (California): Basically, I teach other educators how to use a computer … how to make it something other than a $1500 pencil. Also, I help school districts in our region write technology plans required by the state and help them apply for grants.

I also teach graduate level courses at Fresno Pacific University in the Educational Technology Master’s Degree Program.

I own a business, Frank Words, that started out as desktop publishing and grew into website design. In addition to the copywriting I do for the business, I have a few publishing credits: an article in a fly fishing magazine and a short story and some poetry in a literary jounal.

Why haven't you retired yet?  I still enjoy what I do.
When do you plan to retire? In 3-5 years.

What prompted you to attend this year?
A couple of classmates tracked me down and we had a mini-reunion. I figured if they could make the trip across country, I could do the same. And my wife and I had a great time and are looking forward to the reunion.
